Our Pastor
Pastor Craig Endicott was born in Portland, Maine and baptized on February 18,
1951 in Emmaus Lutheran Church in Falmouth, Maine where his maternal
grandfather had been pastor in the 1940’s. Mr. Endicott was also
confirmed at Emmaus in 1966. Graduating from Falmouth High School
in 1969, he attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and
graduated 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. In the
Fall of 1977 he began classes at Luther Theological Seminary in St.
Paul, Minnesota receiving the Master of Divinity degree (M.Div.) in
May of 1981. Called to be the pastor of Community Lutheran Church
in Enfield, NH, he was ordained on June 28, 1981 at First Lutheran
Church in Portland, Maine (where his mother had been organist and
choir director for several years) and began his ministry in Enfield
on July 1, 1981. In the Fall of 1985, Pastor Endicott accepted a
call to become the pastor of Community Lutheran Church in Sterling,
Virginia and served there until July of 1988 when he became the
Associate Pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Falls Church,
Virginia. In November of 1997 Pastor Endicott accepted the call to
be pastor of Peace Lutheran Church – Waldorf, MD. He assumed those
responsibilities on December 1, 1997.
Pastor Endicott and his wife Gail live on Portobello
Court in Waldorf. Gail is a compensation analyst with MITRE Corp.
He has two sons, Christopher, 22, and Andrew, 19. Pastor Endicott
enjoys golf, computing, reading and tennis. |
