Prayer List
God has invited, even commanded,
us to pray - to speak with God as a child speaks to his or her
parent. And, we are promised that God will hear our prayers. We
invite you to join us for worship and prayer on Sundays or,
perhaps, to stop by the church during the week to be alone with
God.
The Lutheran Book of Worship
(LBW) suggests that the prayers of the church should include "the
whole church, the nations, those in need, the parish, special
concerns... thanks for the faithful departed, especially for those
who recently have died."
Every Sunday, our worship
bulletin lists local and world-wide needs; the friends and family
of Peace Lutheran Church members facing transitions, illnesses,
difficulties, and decisions; bishops, pastors, and leaders of all
churches; the immediate, critic needs of our community; and
petitions of thanksgiving for births, weddings, anniversaries,
promotions, graduations, and other celebrations.
You are welcome to call or
email the church to ask that your prayer concerns be included at
worship on Sundays.
