Youth Group Prayer List
For all the Saints past and present and how they
affected us.
Let us Pray,
We give thanks to you, O Lord our God, for all your servants and
witnesses of time past: for Abraham, the father of believers, and
for Sarah, his wife; for Moses, the lawgiver, and Aaron, the priest;
for Miriam and Joshua, Deborah and Gideon, Samuel and Hannah, his
mother; for Isaiah and all the prophets; for Mary, the mother of our
Lord; for Peter and Paul and all the apostles; for Mary, Martha, and
Mary Magdalene; for Stephen, the first martyr, and all the saints
and martyrs in every time and in every land. In your mercy, give us,
as you gave them, the hope of salvation and the promise of eternal
life; through the first-born from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
For all the saints taken by you in the past year.
With reverence and affection we remember before
you, O everlasting God, all our departed friends and relatives. Keep
us in union with them here through faith and love toward you, that
hereafter we may enter into your presence and be numbered with those
who serve you and look upon your face in glory everlasting, through
your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
For all being received into church membership, that their ministry
with us may bring them to joy.
For those undergoing surgery, facing medical treatments, and
suffering from health problems.
For all victims of violence.
That all who struggle with relationships may be guided by your
Spirit.
For all doctors and nurses that they may work to heal people.
For peace throughout the World, and for the leaders who can work
together to bring it forth.
For everyone undergoing cancer treatments, that they may be healed.
For marriages, that they may reflect God's love.
For those who mourn, especially for those of a loved one.
For pastors who accept the call.
For Catholic Charities and those it serves.
That all people may live in peace and know God's love.
For the spread of the Gospel through word and deed.
For those who travel and for safe journeys.

If you feel any prayers should be added please email me at

"Pray then in this way: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we
also have forgiven our debtors. And do not bring us to the time of
trial, but rescue us from the evil one. (Matthew 6:9-13)
