I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
Psalm 130:5
As I contemplate the turmoil we witness in our communities and the world at large today, I pause and remember throughout history God has always been present to lead his people through the trials and tribulations of the times. Our path is not always an easy one. Whatever we face God is there to give us strength and hope to survive and come out stronger for having faced our struggles. God does not forsake us.
We need to remember to pray without ceasing and wait on the Lord. Our hope is in his word as it has been for all generations.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to you in this time of great need. We ask for your blessing upon all who are suffering. We ask for forgiveness for all our sins. We pray for healing for our world, our nation, and our people. We thank you for the many blessings we have. We ask all of these things in Jesus name.
