Recovery Groups

At Peace Lutheran Church, we understand the profound challenges that individuals face in their journey towards recovery from substance and alcohol dependency. Recovery groups provide a haven of support, understanding, and hope for those who are navigating the complexities of addiction.

Led by experienced facilitators who are committed to compassionate care, recovery groups offer a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can share their struggles, triumphs, and aspirations with others who understand firsthand the challenges of addiction.

Through a combination of fellowship, education, and evidence-based practices,  Recovery groups empower participants to reclaim their lives, cultivate resilience, and build a solid foundation for lasting sobriety.

Whether you're just beginning your journey to sobriety or have been on this path for some time, the Recovery groups that meet at Peace Lutheran Church welcome you with open arms. Here, you'll find a community of support, encouragement, and acceptance as you work towards a brighter, healthier future.

Join us as we walk together towards recovery, restoration, and renewal. Together, we can overcome the grip of addiction and embrace a life of freedom and fulfillment. You are not alone – we are here to support you every step of the way.

Peace Lutheran Church hosts recovery groups associated with the Southern Maryland Intergroup Association (SMIA)
