Food Ministry
Our food ministry is a hub of community engagement and compassion, dedicated to serving those facing food insecurity with dignity and care. At the heart of our efforts is our monthly food pantry, where we open our doors on the first Saturday of every month to distribute nourishing food to individuals and families in our community.

Through the dedication of volunteers and the generosity of donors, we are proud to provide sustenance to over 3,000 individuals annually, reaching households from all corners of Charles County. We understand that food insecurity can affect anyone, regardless of background or circumstance, and we strive to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

In Need?
The food ministry distributes food on the 1st Saturday of every month from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Distribution is curbside and no documentation is required.
Quilting Ministry
The Peace Quilters are a cherished ministry at Peace Lutheran Church dedicated to spreading comfort and warmth through the art of quilting.
For years, the Quilters have lovingly crafted hundreds of quilts with care and dedication, knowing that each stitch brings comfort to those in need. These beautiful quilts find their way to those facing hardship around the globe through Lutheran World Relief, wrapping recipients in a tangible expression of love and compassion.

Music Ministry
Our music ministry offers opportunities for all to participate and find their voice in our musical family. The heartbeat of our ministry is our talented handbell choir, affectionately known as the "Peace Ringers." They gather every Wednesday at 6:15 pm in the sanctuary, where the beautiful tones of handbells fill the air as they rehearse and prepare to uplift our worship services with their enchanting melodies.
In addition to our handbell choir, we are blessed with the voices of our dedicated choir members, the "Peace Singers." They gather each Wednesday at 7:15 pm in the music room, harmonizing together in preparation for inspiring our congregation with their choral performances.
