Ministry Center

Our Ministry Center serves as a hub for community events.  We are a gathering place for people and organizations that are making Charles County a better place to live.  If you have a group that is engaged in community work and you need a place to gather, contact our church office using the form below or call (301) 843-1832. We also are happy to host family celebrations and other events.

Ministry Center Partners

English As A Second Language (ESL)

In partnership with the College of Southern Maryland, English As A Second Language (ELS) classes are offered at Peace Lutheran Church five  (4) mornings a week.  To find out more about the ESL program, visit their website

Recovery Groups

Six days a week people come to our ministry center to find hope and to find freedom from the demons of addiction. We are pleased to partner with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) in Southern Maryland. For more information about AA and the meetings that are hosted here, please visit their website. 

Chesapeake Choral Arts Society

Those who sing pray twice! Our ministry center is home to the Chesapeake Choral Arts Society which seeks to bring excellent choral music to audiences throughout Southern Maryland. For more information about this 60+ member choral group, please visit their website.


Peace Lutheran Church currently sponsors Cub Scout Pack 1771 which meets here on Friday evenings. For more information about the Pack, please visit their Facebook page. 

Southern Maryland Food Truck

We partner with the Southern Maryland Food Bank to prepare homemade food to be delivered to remote places in Charles County, Maryland, where there is limited access to food pantries or other services.
